Celebrating Christmas in LA

Right after Christmas, we headed to LA to visit my parents. The girls had a lot of fun opening their presents and just being at Mamaw and Papaw's house---they were so happy to be there after an 8 hour drive.

NewYear's Eve Fireworks in LA---would be fun if we could do it in OK, but I'm sure it would be much colder!

During our visit to Mom and Dad's, we took a little road trip to Lafayette, LA. While we were there, we ate at some excellent restaurants and visited the Acadian Village. They weren't officially open while we were there, but we enjoyed walking around the grounds. We got some good photos of M&M that day too.
