Santa, Christmas Cookies, Rhema Christmas Lights

M&M were both excited to visit Santa this year!  Big M asked for a globe for Christmas and Little M asked Santa to bring her a Sophia the First Desk.

Our Christmas season just wouldn't be complete without baking and decorating sugar cookies. M&M enjoy cutting out the cookies then covering the baked cookies with icing.  Of course, the cookies just wouldn't be complete without SPRINKLES!

We also enjoyed a "warmer" winter evening with a walk through the Rhema Christmas lights...I think it is becoming a tradition. And, to M&M it just isn't the same if we don't stop and get some Starbucks hot chocolate to drink as we walk through the lights.

Snow Day Sleepover

We were "blessed" with three days out of school in the month of December...perfect timing for a sleepover with one of Big M's friends.  She doesn't get to see this little gal too much since she now attends another school.

Both of the M&M girls enjoyed some playtime and crafts during the sleepover!

Ribbon Cutting

I guess you could say we are a little behind on the blog since I am just now posting about this and it happened back in October.  Little M was one of two students chosen out of her class to participate in the ribbon cutting at her new school.  She was able to sing two songs during the assembly to celebrate the new Pre-K and Elementary School in BA's district.

You can hear her sing here:
